Int, Sw & DK Ch Cobby’s High Stakes
(FIN Ch Fantabulous Jackpot x Sw Ch Cobby’s Heather)
“Hank” has also spent some time in England and his debut was BOB at Bournemouth. He won res. CC before coming back to Sweden and the Klahn-Löfquist’s (Ydrested’s) who has shown him to his titles here. He has two interesting champion offspring out of CC-winner, Cobby’s Mistanguette; the grizzle Sw Ch Cobby’s Midas Touch and the pinky Sw Ch Cobby’s Money, Money, Money who is in Finland now, with Paula Valakari (Fantabulous) and we are eagerly awaiting Money’s daughter, Fantabulous Million Dollar Babe. Hank’s most prominent offspring in England is probably Jill Stevenson’s Brickin Hey Good Lookin’ who has left a string of promising offspring.

Sw Ch Cobby’s Challenger
(German Ch Gryphons Cyrus x Cobby’s Celciana Damascena)
“Davy” spent some time in England and at his debut won Best in Show at the Norwich Terrier Clubs Ch ship Show under Ann Forman. Davy won yet another C.C. but then entered the fabulous “Trueman” the rings, and he was unstopable, hence a third C.C. eluded Davy, so he came back to Sweden and Marita & Olle Billström (Wich-Hounds) to gain his Swedish title. We are very proud of his achievement’s and happy that he left some nice puppies in England. The first of his champion offspring was made up in the Philippines, owned by Emil Stensland.

UK & Sw Ch Ragus Up ‘N’ Adam
(Ragus Lookin’ ForTrouble x Ragus Lucy Furr)
“Thomas”, photographed when he won Best in Group, under Frank Jones at LKA, only 8 month old! He came to Cobby’s before he was two years old and with a BOB at Crufts. Thomas’ aunt is the famous “Dallas” and his grandfather is the now very successful sire in USA, UK & Am Ch Deansleigh Interceptor. Thomas has also proven his worth and that the lines are of value is without questioning, Thomas has already sired champions in England, Spain, Finland and Sweden.

”Dallas” Ch Ragus Truly Unruly winning the Group at WELKS under Jane Miller (left).
UK & Sw Ch Ragus Truly Unruly
(Am Ch Yarrow Sandstorm x Ragus Sweet Deceit)
“Dallas” is Top winning female and top producing brood in England. No other female have won the number of Groups and she also won 12 CCs. & BIS at National Terrier! But her claim to fame is probably even more significant as a top producer. She was Top Brood all Terrier Breeds in 2006! In her first litter was 4 champion daughters (!) and since then she has had 2 more champions, one being the breeds, all time Top Norwich (who was 3rd Top Dog, all breeds, in Britain in 2008), Lesley Crawley’s UK Ch Ragus Rings True. Dallas Swedish bred UK Ch daughter Cobby’s Dressed to Kill was the sixth Ch.

Sw Ch Cobby’s Fazer
(FIN Ch Vielfrass Turun Murre x Cobby’s Fizzy Pink Champagne)
“Fazer” served UK Ch Ragus Red Poison before she went back to England and hence he became the grandfather of the youngest C.C. winner ever in Britain when UK Ch Ragus Black Tie won his first CC at the age of 6 month and 1 day!

Sw Ch Waleric Pearly King
(Tyka King Creol at Jaeva x Waleric Pearl Diver)
“P.K” was “commissioned” from Ann Forman (Waleric) who had announced that she was going to breed a last litter, and it would be from Pearl Diver. A daughter of Cathy Thompson Morgan’s very typy, UK, & multi Ch Chatz Norse King of Bellville and a daughter of my UK & Int Ch Cobby’s Timothy Gyp. I asked Ann if she could consider using Martin Phillips “King Creol” to Diver. After some organizing, King Creol had not been uses for some years and was placed in a private home, the mating took place and to my joy Ann agreed for me to have the only puppy, a pink boy P.K. – a stunning carbon copy of Gyp in looks as well as in behaviour! P.K. served UK & Sw Ch Cobby’s Dressed to Kill before she went to England in 2007 and their fabulous daughter, UK & Am Ch Ragus Got The Look was Top winning female in Britain in 2008!

Sw Ch Cobby’s China Blue Scilla
(Int Ch Cobby’s Bay Laurel x Sw Ch Cobby’s Cornflower)
“Scilla” and her sister Sw Ch Cobby’s Convallis Lilia were quite successful in the rings – but unfortunately not as producers. The complete opposite was the case with their only brother, Cobby’s Crocus. He was shown once with a 1st grading but no more. He was a tremendously sound dog with strong bone, straight forelegs, ext straight tail and a super coat, black eyes and full set of big teeth like a GSD (Schäfer)! But his drawback in the ring was being a bit big, a bit long in loin and too high in hocks as well as slightly long in muzzle. Well, why mentioning him at all… The reason is that the only two litters he ever sired were of such lovely quality (5 Ch out of 8 born) that he certainly made up for what his beautiful sisters lacked – producing quality!

UK, Int, S & N Ch Elve The Sorcerer
(UK Ch Elve Wild Magic x Elve The Saxon Queen)
“Trotter” came to Sweden in 1990 after winning his 18th CC at Crufts that year. He was the C.C. record holder, a position he held in England until 2009 when UK Ch Ragus Rings True (by Sw Ch Cobby’s Famous Rebel x UK & Sw Ch Ragus Truly Unruly) beat it. Trotter was on loan from Michael Crawley and stayed with me for a year and a half. He was a splendid sire: Top Stud in England 1990; Top Stud in England & Sweden in 1991 and Top Stud in Sweden again in 1992. Trotter sired 9 Ch in England, 13 in Sweden and probably many more in other countries.

UK, Sw & FIN Ch Cobby’s Bun O’Honey

Ital & Sw Ch Cobby’s Brabant Cut
(Sw Ch Cobby’s Roger The Lodger x Sw Ch Cobby’s Brilliant Cut)
“Butch” was exported to Italy as a puppy and came back to Sweden as a veteran and took his Swedish title, which is somewhat easier than gaining the Italian title that needed 6 CCs to qualify!

UK, Int & Sw Ch Cobby’s Timothy Gyp
(Sw Ch Cobby’s Roger The Lodger x Sw Ch Cobby’s Mrs Tittlemouse)
“Gyp” was the first imported Norwich Terrier to become a champion in England, which he did in 1991. The year after he was BOB at Crufts. He was Top Sire both in England and Sweden the following years. He sired 15 champions, 3 in England.

“Bruce” was one of the Cobby’s absolute Top Winners during the 1980s. He won groups at general Ch ship Shows, Terrier Club Specialities as well as at Club Shows. He continued to win as a veteran and was BIS-Veteran at general Ch ship shows. We are pleased to have him represented closely in our present I-line.

Sw Ch Cobby’s Black Forest Gateau
(Sw Ch Cobby’s Roger The Lodger x Sw Ch Cobby’s British Biscuit)
“Bobby” was one of the best type-wise and also one of the most used stud dogs in Sweden, but his offspring is not much represented today as many of the breeders that used him are not active nowadays. He was owned by the Matchmaker kennel. We still have him closely represented in Ch Cobby’s Challenger.

Sw Ch Cobby’s Brilliant Cut
(Sw Ch Cobby’s Pompous Parade x GB & Sw Ch Redash Rough Diamond)
“Brillan” is very representative of her fathers offspring.
He was a much used sire and left a string of champions.

Sw Ch Cobby’s Mrs Tittlemouse
(Sw Ch Cobby’s Pompous Parade x Sw Ch Cobby’s Mrs Tiggeywinkle)

Sw Ch Redash Roughrider
(UK Ch Sebzevar Claret and Blue x UK Ch Redash Gin Rummy)
“Frank” was only used outside the kennel once.
Two of his incisive met in a level bite; hence he was not at public stud. T
eeth placement did not stop him from being Top Winner as well as a Group Winner. I am glad to say that of the 17 puppies he sired (well it was 19 born but two died in accidents before 4-5 month of age) all had perfect scissor bites and 15 of them were made up champions, one had 2 CCs and the 17th gained a CC-quality card!

UK (GB), Int & Nord Ch Ragus Garrick
(UK Ch Daffran Rufus x UK Ch Ragus Griselda)
Garrick was a half-brother to the breed’s first BIS winner in England, Ch Ragus Gypsy Love. Garrick was the breeds Top Winner in England in 1977, the same year that I had money on the racing horse Red Rhum when he won the Grand National for the third time! Garrick won Group-2 at Richmond Ch ship Show before he left for Sweden. He sired 16 Champions, several in England.

UK Ch Withalder Locksley x Ragus Penny Ha’penny)l
The first of many of our famous English Champions, “Sid” was born in 1970, the same year that his father, UK Ch Withalder Locksley was the first Norwich Terrier ever to win a Group at Crufts! Sid was the breeds first Group winning male in Sweden (he won 3 groups and was BIS-2 at two of the occasions). His foremost claim to fame is as the sire of 36 Champions, several in the UK.
